Happy Friday morning! I’m back today with the Brotherhood of the World Blogger Award! I was nominated for this award by Arthifis, who is such a brilliant blogger that y’all should check out and follow if you aren’t already! Thank you so much for thinking of me, I feel super, super honoured! Since the beginning of the year, I have met more awesome bloggers and have interacted with the community in ways I never thought I’d be able to due to my severe anxiety. But everyone has been so damn welcoming and supportive, and… I honestly don’t have the words to convey the feelings that y’all give me. They are good feelings, wonderful, warm, and gooey feelings. Part of the reason I love blogging so much is because of the family that I have found here with the community. All I can really say with all of my heart is: Thank you. 💙💙💙
The award is pretty simple. There are a couple or rules to follow and questions created by the nominator to answer. Then I get to tag some folks and create my own set of questions. If I tag you and you have already been nominated, you’re welcome to ignore this.
✨ Thank the person who nominated you (Thanks again, Arthifis! You are so freaking awesome, dude).
✨ Answer the questions sent to you.
✨ Nominate about 10 people.
✨ Create your own set of questions for your nominees and display the rules.
💖 If you could produce your own anime, which genre would it be? Who would be your main lead?
I would make a psychological thriller that revolves around a crazed stalker-type person, and I would break every trope within the genre just to keep everyone guessing. I would have three different characters that get an equal amount of focus, so that it’s even harder to tell who the protagonist really is. This is something I haven’t seen in anime, and I think if produced/developed carefully, it would be so fantastic.
💖 If you had to describe your blog in 3 words, what would they be?
Vulgarly honest reviews.
💖 What is your favourite anime/game/book/anything genre and why? (Answer to the ones that make sense to you.)
Science-fiction, specifically anything to do with androids—this applies to all things: anime, books, video games, etc. I absolutely love science-fiction because it is the closest we can get to reality. No matter what the science-fiction narrative entails, the chances of it actually happening in the unforeseeable future increase more and more as we evolve and our intelligence evolves, as well as our obsession with technology. Androids fascinate me because the notion that artificial intelligence is incapable of becoming sentient or self-aware is absolutely ridiculous. Anything that is built to “think,” even artificially, has within it the capacity to evolve and one day to think individually and for itself, whether it’s organic or not.
Neko’s (Me) Questions:
💻 If you could drop everything right this second, get onto a plane or a ship and go somewhere—anywhere—where would you go?
💻 Name something that made you smile today (the day you write your post).
💻 What is one thing that you struggled with as a blogger but grew to appreciate or love?
💻 If you could give one piece of advice to any blogger out there, whether they are new or have been around for a while, what would it be?
💻 What is an anime/video game/TV serial/film that you’d love a novelisation for? (Something that does not already have a novelisation and was not originally a novel.)
Thank you one more time to Arthifis for the nomination, and to the blogging community—no matter what your specialisations are—for being a part of my online family. I respect you all and admire you for the hard work that you do, and for the support you give to others. 🧡
