Out of this World Blogger Award

Every time that I get a nomination for my blog or the content that I create, I feel very humbled and appreciative. This time my gratitude is directed towards Michel for nominating me for this remarkable bloggers award. You know, when I created my blog, way back in 2015 before I settled on the name BiblioNyan, I honestly never expected to meet so many fantastic people who are so supportive and uplifting; people who inspire and motivate others not only to pursue their passions, but to do so with an open heart and without fear. I also never dreamt, even in my most ambitious of dreams, that I would be where I am as a blogger and continue to grow as I have been within the past year. Michel is one of the many bloggers who I feel blessed to share a community with, and one of the people who has impacted my blog and my life in so many positive ways, so thank you from the bottom of my heart, my friend, for this honour.

The Out of this World Blogger Award was created to essentially celebrate content creators for the work that they continue to put out within the blogging community. When you hear the phrase, “Out of this world,” it is easy to co-relate that to something as being supremely impressive or fantastically excellent. To know that there are people out there who believe BiblioNyan and the content shared on this platform are “Out of this World,” is quite simply jaw-dropping and awe-inspiring for me. Thank you so much!

The Rules:

   I.  Thank the blogger(s) that nominated you, and link back to their post. You can check out Michel’s wonderful post here!
   II.  Answer the questions.
III.  Don’t forget to grab your badge! (It looks absolutely awesome!)
IV.  Nominate 3-5 bloggers for the award.
   V.  You may use the header image from the post, if desired.
VI. Please, be sure to link back to the original post and the creator of this award: Reader Voracious Blog.

The Questions:

I.  What (or who) inspired you and why?

While I am inspired by my fellow bloggers, the number one source of inspiration for all good things in my life is Sir Betrothed—my beautiful, hilarious, and polar-bearly partner in life. ♥

II.  What is your favourite thing about blogging?

I could be cheesy and say the blogging community (because, honestly, this is one of my favourite parts about being a blogger), but I’m going to go with my second favourite thing today: being able to explore and expand my creativity and interests as it pertains to reviews (such as going from a book-only blog to one that also chats about otaku content and Asian cinema).

III.  If you could be any character in fiction, whom would you be and why?

I’m going to have to go with Sebastian Michaelis from the manga series Black Butler by Yana Toboso. If I could be a badass motherbutler who can wield a butter knife with deadly precision, all the while keeping my house continuously spotless… oh, and be able to make brilliantly delicious meals, what more could I possibly ask for?

IV.  If you had six months with no obligations or financial constraints, what would you do?

The very first thing I would do is take all of my cats in for health examinations and get them up-to-date on any vaccinations/etc. they’d need, if they aren’t already. Then I would help fund Sir Betrothed’s dream of owning a bookstore that is also a pub/restaurant with a fusion of Irish and Indian cuisines. After that, I’d go on a small vacation to tour England, Scotland, Ireland, and Japan, also with Sir Betrothed.

V.  What is one piece of advice that you would give a new blogger?

Don’t be afraid to be honest and true to yourself.

VI.  Optional: Freebie Question – Share something with us!

Even though I’m a pescatarian (for health reasons; i.e.: doctors made me), I have the biggest weakness for my parents’ homemade Indian cooking, especially my abbu’s (dad) spicy ground beef and potato curry, or my ammi’s (mom) spicy coconut chicken curry (made with all white meat chicken boob). I know that I will probably break my diet for those meals every once in a while. #NoRegretsAtAll #TotallyFuckingWorthIt

  1. Congrats on the award! 😊 Honestly who wouldn’t want to Sebastian? He is one of the finest characters out there lol.
Also, those dishes sound they are worth breaking a diet for! 😂

  2. Congrats on the award and thank you for the nomination! I have one friend who liked to pretend she was Sebastian, so I agree that it would be awesome to be Sebastian. I like the idea of a bookstore that I could eat and drink in. A pub/restaurant is more exciting than the built-in cafe I’ve seen at Barnes & Noble.
