Day 18: A book that disappointed you.
While I could probably create another bulleted list here, I will just go with my most recent disappointment, which is Into the Drowning Deep by Mira Grant. This adult marine-focused science-fiction novel was everything that I love in hard, intricate science-fiction books, but the execution was quite undesirable, to put it nicely. I remember your review for that one, and I felt disappointed as well…because the premise for it sounded so cool, and I had really wanted to go read it myself. It always sucks when something you look forward to lets you down 😢
