Caturday Reads: Ghost Thriller, Dark Fantasy, & Cosy Mystery!

Of course, lengthy, draining weeks demand self-care on the weekends! Since this shall be my last couple days of freedom before a new work project begins and monopolises my time and brain juice, I want to spend it all in Potato Mode. Spooky books and spooky films and spooky Shinobi stalking my kitchen in the middle of the night, convincing me that I’m about to be murdered by some creepy arse clown from outer space

Caturday Reads: Horror Chills, Trans Discourse, & Heartfelt Manga – FEATURING KHEB’s KINGLY COMMENTARY

Good day, Foul Beings of BiblioNyan. Welcome to my hooman’s long-vacant blog space. They have had much more vital things to tend to these last few months, such as my grooming and pampering and special kibble preparations, as well as reading to me while I slumber to ensure lovely dreams of mice murder mayhem, and of course the constant dedication to doting of my utmost beauty. I typically do not require any introductions for I am the Supreme Being of All, however, I shall make an acceptance of your

Caturday Reads: Wintery Fantasy & Folklore Fiction

With that I welcome you to my last Caturday Reads post for 2021! The goal for the rest of December and for January is to dive into wintery fantasy and folklore fiction type novels, especially the ones I wanted to get through this year, but simply didn’t have the time nor energy to do so yet.

Caturday Reads: Spooktober Edition 🎃💀

Welcome to my über belated Caturday Reads! This is going to be my reading list for all of October. Bookish goals for the month include a couple cosy mysteries, some sci-fi horror, dark fantasy horror, urban fantasy horror, and horror suspense including Japanese horror!

Caturday Reads: Cosy Mysteries & Sci-Fi Adventure

All of the books that I had intended to read a couple weeks ago ended up falling through because I simply didn’t have the attention span or time to devote to them. While I’m saddened by it, I’m also glad that I realised I had to put reading aside to just let Life do its thing, otherwise I may have fallen into an atrocious reading rut (my second biggest nemesis after spiders). Since things have been super hefty with respect to my emotional and mental well-being, I turned to chill, cosy books to help me unwind

Caturday Reads: True Crime, Fungalpunk Sci-Fi, & Sci-Fi Thriller

Recently, I finished reading a book on female serial killers called Lady Killers: Deadly Women Throughout History by Tori Telfer and it has me craving true crime narratives like a catnip addict. In addition to my nonfiction treats, I also have a science-fiction book or two to help break the tension and heaviness of the dreary and decrepit. One of these sci-fi titles is marketed as a Fungalpunk trilogy

Caturday Reads: Sci-Fi Horror, Dark Fantasy, & Batman Comics

This weekend, I’m continuing my comfort reading of one of my favourite dark fantasy, sword and sorcery serials of all-time and I’m also hoping to dive into a genre that I’ve been craving for the better part of two weeks, sci-fi horror! Additionally, I’ve got a decent stack of comics to entertain me if my ADHD with novels gets to be a bit much, of which I shared my most-anticipated pick.

Caturday Reads: Environmental Fantasy & Japanese Nonfiction + Azizi Kitty Update

Good afternoon, Chums. I know it’s been quite a while since my last post (at least it sure as hell feels that way), and the truth is that I’ve had a lot going on, which I plan on discussing briefly later in the post. I’m going to break this write-up down into a couple of small sections. The first shall consist of my current reads and planned reads for the upcoming week, and the second shall be info about Azizi kitty.
