Attack on Titan Season 1, Episodes 8, 9, 10 Musings: Cowardice vs Courage & the Makings of an Anti-Hero

Episode eight focuses on highlighting certain characters’ personal skillsets that they have that shall be honed as the season goes on, such as Armin using scheming strategy to help his team get out of a tricky situation with a hoard of titans. (Murder of titans? School of titans? Tomb of titans? Littre of titans? Toolbox of titans! Okay, I’m done now.) We also learn who the emo-ab-infused titan is!

Attack on Titan Special Episodic Review Announcement

This is a brief intro for the upcoming mutterings. I wanted to give a head’s up post for anyone who is out there that may not want to spoil themselves on Attack on Titan. I know quite a few folx who are eagerly anticipating a magnificent binge-watching session once all the episodes have been released, and I totally respect that.

Berserk (1997): A Magnificent Adaptation of Kentarō Miura’s Dark Fantasy Masterpiece – Anime 1st Impressions

Berserk (剣風伝奇ベルセルク) is a Fall 1997 anime adaptation of Kentarō Miura’s masterpiece manga series, Berserk. This seinen, epic dark fantasy, sword and sorcery series was produced by OLM TEAM IGUCHI and directed by Naohito Takahashi and Kazuya Murata, spanning twenty-five episodes. Recently, I’ve been reading through the manga for the very first time and after being completely mind-blown by its scope and artful creation, I knew that I had to look up the anime as soon as possible.

Wolf’s Rain follows a group of four ragtag wolves that end up coming together due to various circumstances and embarking on a very long and arduous journey in the search for a place called Paradise, which is foretold to appear when the world approaches its end. In the anime, wolves have been hunted practically to extinction and are nothing more than a grand legend. In order to protect themselves from the many different perceptions that people have about them, the four wolves disguise themselves as humans in order to survive their lengthy adventure.

Jujutsu Kaisen – First Impressions: An Awesomely Action-Packed Supernatural Shōnen Series that Shouldn’t Be Missed (Fall 2020)

Jujutsu Kaisen is about a teenage boy named Itadori Yūji who’s a typical teenager that tries to be free-spirited while caring for his ailing grandfather. One day while visiting his gramps, tragedy strikes, leaving Yūji to ponder the nature of life and death. Meanwhile, the two members of his occult club from school end up falling into a spot of shady shite when they unknowingly release an ancient and deadly supernatural entity. In order to save his friends’ lives, Yūji will have to undergo a formidable and treacherous Cursed power, placing his own existence in wretched jeopardy.
