With the new Uni semester looming around the corner, I’ve decided to spend the next two to three weeks doing nothing but reading and writing, as well as playing as many video games in my Steam library as possible. As soon as the ON switch for the semester hits, I know I’ll be out of fresh free-time.
My reading inclinations have been all over the place recently and as such, I’ve got a nice bit of variety to the things that I shall be diving into over the next couple of days and then possibly going into the upcoming week ahead, which includes a bit of horror, thriller, and non-fiction, along with a decent sized pile of Batman comics.
Recently, I finished reading a book on female serial killers called Lady Killers: Deadly Women Throughout History by Tori Telfer and it has me craving true crime narratives like a catnip addict. In addition to my nonfiction treats, I also have a science-fiction book or two to help break the tension and heaviness of the dreary and decrepit. One of these sci-fi titles is marketed as a Fungalpunk trilogy
I really hope to be able to spend the next two days lazing around in bed because my body and my mind really need to catch up on recuperation. Aside from napping with feline folx, the activities will be limited to things that won’t require me to physically leave said bed if possible, meaning animu watching and reading, yay!
