30-Day Anime Challenge – Day 24: Moment That Shocked You the Most in Any Anime

Day 24: Moment That Shocked You the Most in Any Anime
** Please note: There will be major spoilers ahead for the anime Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. Read at your own discretion! **

In one particular scene, Lelouch, who’s also Zero, accidentally orders the genocide of the Japanese people by ordering Euphemia to do it. This happened solely because he forgot that his Geass was still activated and made a joke about how if he really wanted to do something drastic to affect the political climate in a specific means (being vague to avoid more spoilers as much as possible) that would be the way to do it.

This scene in all of its astonishingly emotional intensity, was unfathomably revelatory about the true nature of Geass and the supreme burden that comes with wielding it.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Hoping the rest of your day is fantastic! Until next time, keep reading and keep otakuing. 🌸

  1. hell yeah, love this moment. Euphy wielding a giant gun while happily killing people jsut sticks with you. And I don’t remember much, but Lelouch was crying when giving out another order afterwards. It was insane.
